When imagining meditation, we often think of a very stereotypical image but this is quite a common misconception. You don’t have to sit in a uncomfortable position for hours humming. Life today is stressful and hectic, meditation helps to calm and silence your mind and it provides a greater self- awareness.

We go to great lengths to try and avoid sweating, but we’d actually be in big trouble if we didn’t sweat. Sweating doesn’t just occur in the gym but can happen when you’re anxious, excited, in a crowded space or even during a particularly spicy curry! The average person has about 2.6 million sweat glands across their body. It is a mixture of water and salt and is also known as ‘perspiration’.

There are times that stress gets on top of us and all we want to do and curl up in bed until the bills go away, your responsibilities stop being so demanding and all the problems in your life magically disappear. Although, a comfortable way to hide from your stress, it’s important to begin to manage this so that you can cope better.
