Ingredients
- 150g turkey mince (extra lean) (for vegetarian option use½candrained mixed beans instead of turkey)
- 1 smallegg (beaten)
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (contains fish) (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or 1 tbsp dried sage
- ½ tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp oil (olive, rapeseed, hemp seed or spray oil)
- 2 burger baps (wholemeal is best)
- Lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- 2 tbsp lighter than light mayonnaise
- ½ red onion
- ½ tsp English mustard
- 20g breadcrumbs or rolled oats
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 2 slices pineapple rings
- ¼ large red bell pepper, diced

Method
- In a large bowl combine the breadcrumbs or oats, onions, garlic, red pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, egg, turkey mince or mixed beans, chopped basil or sage & mustard and mix well 2. Shape the mixture into 2 burgers about 2cm thick
- Lightly oil your grill rack, and grill the burgers covered with foil, on a medium heat for 3 minutes on each side
- Remove the foil & grill for another 4-5 minutes on each side (Ensure they are cooked though) 5. Remove the burgers from the grill
- Place the pineapple rings in the grill and grill on one side for 2 minutes
- Place the grill side of the pineapples onto the burger, then place the burger back into the grill, pineapple side up, for another 2 minutes
- Assemble your baps, spread with mayonnaise, and layered with lettuce, tomato & the burgers with pineapple.
