Recipe method
Cut the apples and pears into thin slices and place them in a large saucepan.
Cut the two oranges in half and squeeze the juice into the saucepan. (Try and get slightly softer oranges for an easier squeeze if you haven’t got manual juicer).
Add a drizzle of honey and a splash of water if you’ve been unlucky with the amount of juice from the oranges!
Place the saucepan on the hob and bring to low-medium heat until the mixture starts to simmer. Leave to simmer for about 20 minutes until the fruit softens, stirring regularly.
Meanwhile, break the digestive biscuits up into a bowl. You can do this with your hands but if you prefer a finer crunch, use the end of a rolling pin to gently bash the biscuits!
Then break up the pecans into smaller pieces and place them in a separate bowl with the sultanas
Once the fruit has softened to your liking, separate the mixture into bowls for serving, and throw the pecans and sultanas in with it
Spoon on a large dollop or two of greek yoghurt and sprinkle on the digestive crumble. Add a little cinnamon to finish!
